Re: Worst personal experience at....
I went to a ND/UT a few years back to arrive to see that the college kid in front of us had puked all over our seats. We got the choice of either putting carbboard boxes over it and sitting or standing in the concourse. We braved in on cardboard for the first half, then left.

JJK/Coeburn boys basketball games at Wise... between Zack, Castle, TJ McAmis, TJ's parents, and Stevie Neece things got pretty heated. The Kelly fans didn't like us sitting behind the bench yelling (their bench is on the visitors' side), so words ensued, TJ's dad came over and squeezed in front of Zack, Castle, and myself trying to get the guys to shut up and of course that just riled em up more it was pretty heated.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
Was at Norton the night some guy from Evington spread the tear gas bomb. Quite an experience. Within a few seconds, people panicked and you could neither breathe nor see. I went back in at least an hour later with the Appy cheeerleader to retrieve some of their stuff and it was still bad. I drove the Basketball bus then for Appy. Eddie Sharpe who now teaches at Burton was playing for Appy.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
Was Sharpe the all-time leading scorer or something at Appy? Another teacher told me that, thought it might be kinda far fetched since ole Coach Sharpe is a little out of shape these days
Re: Worst personal experience at....
Being at a Braves game 2 years ago and sitting behind a buzzed Cardinal fan who threatened us and called us trailer trash. Was funny cause they threatened to kick him out of the stadium if they heard of any more problems from him.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
Best one I can think of was this year at the Bristol fall race. I worked on the Bowtech trailer all day and got to see the race with the guys I worked with that night. When we were leaving I noticed a guy who was somewhere out in B F E. Blitzed out of his mind standing behind the Richard Petty experience car.
We watched him bob up and down banging his head on the hood for awhile. I guess he thought that would be a nice place to take a nap. Took some nice up close photos and laughed our a%& off. After a good while we finally decided to get the cops over there before the dude takes a header into beaver creek. We watched for awhile longer until the cops made him leave. On the way out he asked us for a light and said be safe out there or something to that nature.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
Not really a worst in any way, but was just funny as all get out.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
The night of the Busch race at Bristol(after it was over)... was in the infield with my dad ( he worked for BFI) Was riding around the track in trucks, walking the track, looking at the cars on pit road, exc. and as we were getting in the trucks again i put my hand up on the end of the dashboard to brace myself while shutting the heavy door of the truck ( i was 9 or 10 ) and slammed my ring finger and pinky finger in the door breakin both of them
Re: Worst personal experience at....
LOL this guy was trying to find a reason to start fighting with us. Jumping up in our faces. When the security guards got onto him he tried everything possible to try and pin it all off on us.
And the 2004 PV/Norton football game. We pulled in on the band bus and some group of stupid Norton fans yell something like "you're gonna get tackled." It wasn't a bad experience but it was funny.
And my sophomore year, we had that pep band for basketball at PV. The "Coeburn Idiots" (aka Coeburn Crazies) were yelling at Brad Robbins something about being a Daddy's Boy and something bad about. Everyone from PV laughs hysterically. And Biggin has a poster and a marker and writes PV 61, Coeburn 0 in response to the cracks against the football team. Definition of priceless. And Mr. Rowland comes and tells him to knock it off.
Re: Worst personal experience at....
I was tackled on the sidelines a year or so ago.
Knocked me completely out of my shoes. Didn't feel so good....
